Volunteering for Community Transport

Community Transport schemes are set up to serve people who do not have access to conventional transport or are unable to use it. It enables residents to make journeys essential for health, social and leisure, which they may not be able to make otherwise.

Volunteer Drivers are always needed to give lifts using their own cars or to drive our minibuses and MPVs. Passenger Assistants are also needed for the minibuses (to help people on and off the vehicle).

How to apply

You can apply to join the team as a driver or passenger assistant at any time. Visit Community Travel - Volunteering (opens in a new window) for more information.
